AFDCC Innovation Day: from collection to recovery

The AFDCC Innovation Day was held in Paris on June 9.
We were delighted to take part in this event, which focused on innovation in the field of payment.

From collection to recovery

An invoice becomes a receivable when the recipient fails to pay on time.
In most cases, an invoice has a due date.
This can take various forms:

  • cash on the day,
  • upon receipt of the product or service,
  • standard due date of 30 days (after issue of invoice),
  • negotiated deadline: 60 days maximum (after invoice issue).

In the event of non-payment on the due date, your invoice becomes a receivable, and the customer becomes your debtor. This may be the case if the customer fails to pay what is due, or if payment is refused (bounced cheque, blocked direct debit).
In this case, our in-house collection department can take over.
We handle out-of-court collection, in France and abroad.
In the case of legal collection, our experts can help you launch the procedure.
